Today was the day!  My Race for Life is now a memory, but I am still buzzing from the whole experience.  I managed to run the 5km in under half an hour - yippi.

The rains came down three minutes before we set which was a blessing as we didn't get to hot and sticky.  Everyone had their registration numbers pinned to the front of their t-shirts and a personal message on their backs. Reading all the messages made me realise that Cancer has taken so many people who are the centre of so many people's worlds.  Today, us ladies joined together to help change what could be an ugly future for so many.  It was wonderful to be part of something that WILL change lives for the better.

If you are reading this page you have probably sponsored me.  You should have recieved a message from me by now, but if you haven't I want to say THANK YOU again for providing the finacial support that really will make a change.  You're so generous and so wonderful and without you I wouldn't have had the incentive to carry on training. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
