Cancer, I'm coming to get you! ( but whether I manage a whole 5km in one go remains to be seen!)

I signed up to do this race the night my Dad lost his battle with cancer, it seemed a long way away back in March, but now it's done!!

On the day the first time we only did 3.2K due to an error by the person leading us on the bike, but we all felt we hadn't achieved what we came for so decided to do it again - unfortunately this time we had to do the infamous prospect park hill!! But we made it round and managed 5.9k in total!!

 

The day before the race.......

Ive been following my sofa to 5 k app, and have discovered I'm much better off on the sofa.....but I'm ploughing on!!! I just don't think I'm made for running. But I'll give it my best shot, I'd like to finish under 40 min, but it's going to be hot tomorrow. 

I've raised my target a little, but I don't like to hassle anyone, so thank you if you have donated.  Every penny will keep me running that but further!
