Alhamdulillah, we started with a one woman team and we ended up with a fantastic team of THIRTY-NINE Muslim women who signed up for Race for Life! This is the biggest group of Muslim woman to race for Cancer Research UK this year. So please, get your friends and colleagues together, dig deep and give as much as you can - we have till the 18th of June to meet our target.

Did you know that one in three of us will develop cancer at some point in our lives?
It is absolutely horrifying which is why we are getting off our lazy bums to join this year's Race For Life, to raise money for our favourite cancer-related charity, Cancer Research UK.
Cancer Research UK rely overwhelmingly on the success of fundraising events such as Race for Life to continue their life-saving research into the prevention, treatment and cure of all forms of cancer.
Who knows - one day the work that Cancer Research is doing could save one of us, or perhaps someone you or I love dearly.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
