Fundraising for cancer research is something thats very peronal to me after losing my husband to the disease in 2007 and then 12 months later being diagnosed myself with skin cancer. After 2 operations I was given the all clear but I still have to attend hospital check ups every 3 months for the next few years as a precaution.

After seeing the effects the disease had on Mark my fundraising is important if it stops other people watching their loved ones suffer as I did in front of their eyes.

Mark was a happy chappy, always making you laugh, he loved his family and it affected us all in different ways. He left 4 children Denise, Mark Jnr, Daniel & Nikki-Jay who ultimately coped with the devastating effects and he would be proud of them all for what they have achieved in life.
