Despite knowing many people that have suffered with this terrible disease, I would now like to dedicate my participation in the race to Sherrel Kennedy.

Sherrel is my best best friends mum and she was diagnosed with cancer just two days ago. Sherrel is one of the most amazing women I have ever met, and despite suffering with numerous illnesses over the past few years, including a liver transplant a couple of years ago as well as having diabetes, I have never seen her frown, ever.  

The Kennedy household is always so warm when she is there and we need to get her home. She is a trooper and we know she will pull through but I want to do my bit to say thank you to all the doctors and nurses in London that are caring for her.
