Dear Friends, Family and Colleagues,

As some of you may be aware, I am a cancer survivor, having been diagnosed in the advanced stages of bowel cancer when I was 23 years old.  As a result, i underwent a major surgery  and chemotherapy treatments for a year and a half. I was extremely lucky to have access to some of the most amazing oncologists and surgeons who helped me to defeat the disease, not to mention the support of friends and family. 

I will be running in a number of race for life events throughout May, June and July.  Raising money for events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer which is crucial in the fight against this disease. By sponsoring me now you can help more people survive cancer.

In each race I will be running with the names of people who have suffered or succumbed to the disease on my shirt, do let me know if there is someone you would like me to include,  I would be honoured to run with their name.  The names so far are:
