I'm also doing this race in loving memory of my late Uncle Alfie, who sadly lost his life to cancer last year. He is missed by me and my family every day, but I'm sure he would have been proud of me and my cousins for taking part in this event.

UPDATE!!! 29TH MARCH

WEY!!!!! I reached my target of £100!!!! So why stop there?

I've decided to up my target to £200! Seen as it's going so well!
And just so you know I'm doing the run in FANCY DRESS!!! Dont really know what as atm i'm in two minds but nearer the time I'll put a poll up to see which costume wins ^_^ and hopefully I'll have photo evidance of me crossing the finish line in whatever costume wins! ^_^ haha have a feeling which one it's gonna be like.... ¬_¬ haha

But anyway, keep your sponsors coming in folks! Every little helps!
I'm starting training now, I'll try and get some photos done to show the randomness of my journey before the Race! lol

UPDATE!!! 13th May

On Sunday 11th May, I took part in the Cancer Research Race for Life 2008 in Sunderland!
I have just uploaded the photos that my lovely Boyfriend Ryan took of the day, it was a fantastic event and I enjoyed every second and am so glad I was part of it! I completed the course in 35mins!!! Which I'm so pleased with! And can't wait to do it all again next year! ^_^

Being at the race just made me realise that Cancer has affected so many people in Sunderland, and all over the country and world. So donating just a little bit of money can save a persons life, and keep them with their families & friends that bit longer.
