In Feburary 2008 my husband Paul (Muzzer) was diagnosed with Advanced Stage Bowel Cancer at just 39 years old. Now 14 months on, after 3 operations and 6 months of intense chemotherapy  including a clinical trial, which he had an excellent response too, he is now on the road to recovery with a brighter future ahead.

Cancer Research UK is the largest single funder of cancer research in the UK and the world's largest charity dedicated to cancer and in our effect to contributre towards this myself and 11 close friends (Val Fannon, Lisa Thompson, Louise Gray, Sarah Conway, Stacey Reynolds, Vanessa Clarke, Jane Black, Heather Travena, Sarah Robertson, Michelle Partington, Sharon Bretherton) who have all had their own family members or friends affected by cancer, are taking part in the Race for Life on Sunday 17th May in Wythenshawe Park, Manchester.
