This is my 40th year and this race will be that last of 4 10k races I am going to complete before my birthday this year (I wimped out of a marathon race).

I am running to prove I can do it and I'm dead chuffed this year that some friends are running some of the races with me. It's going to be amazing.

On my mind this year will be 'Our Karen' who sadly didn't make it. She fought so bravely and so I will remind myself to not moan about a single ache or pain.

I am running to help more people beat cancer.
