I have decided to take part in the Race for Life in order to support those who have unfortunately been affected by this disease. My boyfriends Mum, Joy D'Aulerio spent five years battling from the horrible affects of Breast Cancer, and after years suffering passed away in the 28th June 2008. Joy was such a remarkable amazing beautiful lady she really was, she was so brave in so much pain but never ever complained once. She was truely one fantastic person, she kept on fighting right until the very end. She was loved by so so so many people and it is so so so important to me to beat this disease and stop other wonderful people like joy from suffering. Your sponsorship money means so much to myself and all of joys family to give us all hope that one day there will be a cure to prevent other beautiful people just like joy from suffering.

Joy wad so fantastic and so brave, she really was such a lovely bubbly lady with a kind heart. I would kindly ask you all to dig deep and sponsor me in my effort to help raise money to support others in their battle.

Cancer has also affected my family, and I would therefore like to dedicate this Race for Life to both my Granddad, John Brown, and Joy D'Aulerio.
