Last year I entered Race For Life with my sister-in law Nikki Millan and many of our family and friends. As many of you know Nikki had been diagnosed with lung cancer and she was determined to finish the course along with her supporting "Chicks". Although Nikki found the 5K walk a strenuous task, she only rested once and proudly crossed the finishing line (the last person to do so!) cheered on by the crowds. That day is one which will last in our memories forever. Sadly, Nikki's strength and determination to fight her disease ran out in December 2012. We are all devastated to have lost such a beautiful and courageous woman which makes us even more determined this year to raise as much money as we can to help in the fight against cancer. This year, in memory of Nikki, we are going to cross the finishing line last!!!
