I often looked at the race for life and thought, this year; yep this year is the year I will do it!  Then another year goes by without me quite getting round to doing it, as with most good intentions and my fitness regime!  Then this year I applied, finally thinking it would be a great way to lose some weight after my operation and a first step to get my health back whilst raising some money for a fabulous cause. 

That was ironically before I was told that cancer had been found in my throid - thankfully I have now been told that they are happy all the cancer is out and no further treatment is necessary.  Not everyone is as lucky as me, so now with a further incentive to do some good and raise a little more money I am hoping to be able to put a little back in return for all the fabulous help I received and to hopefully help others who may come across this challenge in their life.

So Meagan and I, visions in pink will be stomping the streets of Cleethorpes (or maybe just the boating lake!) on July 11th and would really, really appreciate anything you can donate large (obviously!!) or small (still great!).
