Story
As you all know, Peter was diagnosed with CML (Chronic Myeloid Leukemia) in August last year. He continues to respond well to his treatment, which is only made possible by the fantastic research done by the likes of Cancer Research UK.
Well, it's now Monday morning - the day after the race. We all did it! Although it was hot hot hot, I guess that was better than if it had been pouring down! We all managed to get round in fairly reasonable times and we all had a good time, which is the main thing. Don't forget, there is still time for you to sponsor us, if you haven't done so already.
I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has sponsored us so far. With the off line donations, we have made well over £1000 which I think is great.
Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK’s life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring us now you can help more people survive cancer.
Gift Aid it!
If you are a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box when donating so that an extra 25%, plus a 3% supplement, can be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Every pound you donate really does make a difference – so please sponsor us now!
Many thanks from Kirsten, Sandra, Debbie, Holly, Jackie, Jenny, Katie & Leanne for your support – Together we will beat cancer.
