Help me tell cancer to jog on!

I know just how many emails and requests you get to give money to good causes. But there is a very good reason why you should support me on this.

I hate running but I hate cancer more and that's why I'm pulling on my underused trainers and joining the thousands of people that will be taking part in Basildon's Race for Life this month. 

I need your support.

 

Cancer killed my friend Tricia's mum when she was in her forties and we were still at school. These days Tricia's mum would probably have survived because of the advances in cancer research. My friend Sarah is living with cancer and continues to thrive because of the advances in cancer research.

More and more people I know are suddenly finding themselves battling this cruel disease. The least I can do is run for half an hour. The least you can do is donate to make sure more people live to say: jog on cancer. 

Donate what ever you can and help spread the word to encourage friends/family/colleagues to donate a few quid to help me too. People can text donations to: just text PBPB 97 and the amount you (with '£' infront) to 70070.

Charities like Caner Research UK are finding new ways to battle cancer and give people hope. With 1 in 3 people likely to get cancer at some point in their life we need them to redouble their efforts to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer.

I'd love you all to be there to support me on the day, but I need your help now too.
