The race has been done and sponsorship money is being collected! Much fun was had by all and the girls finished the day off having a celebratory picnic. It is often quoted that 1 in 3 of us will get cancer at some time in our lives. This means that it is very probable that us or our close family will at some point will be diagnosed with cancer. In the past there was often nothing that could be done, now days an increasing number of people can be treated and survive cancer. Further research could increase this number further, but this takes funding.
