Nicola's Story

My sister and I are running the 10K Race for Life on June 22 on behalf of our sister in law Nicola who passed away this March, only 4 months after being diagnosed with Myeloma. Nicola was a wonderful woman who dealt with her cancer with tremendous courage and fight and throughout her time in hospital she never lost hope. She was a dedicated and loving mother to her three children Mo 12, Nathan 6, and Matthew 3 and her husband Eldridge and because of cancer, she will no longer be in their life. Watching this tragedy unfold over the past few months and realising how quickly someone we love, someone seemingly healthy, can be taken away from us so easily, makes fundraising for Cancer Research so important, as tomorrow it could be me or you that hears the terrible news that Nicola recieved 6 months ago, after all Macmillan Cancer Support says more than 40% of the population will develop cancer. Donations any size are appreciated, so please donate as this is a cause close to our hearts.
