Cancer, we're coming to get you!

Thank you for visiting my Race for Life sponsorship page. I have been deciding to join Race for Life  for couple of years now and never really built the courage. You see, I absolutely hate running, jogging and the likes. I know I can walk, dance or run on these events but I always thought if it is a RACE then it should be a proper one - set my sturdy legs into running motion. And so it happens that this year is the year for me to take part and run for Cancer Research. Wearing pink-- yeah, another thing you wont see me doing very often. Now, wearing pink and running-- seriously, priceless.

Events like Race for Life are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer.

My mum died of cancer 11 years ago, my granny has been diagnosed with cancer two years ago, all granny's sisters died of various types of cancer and it is only three women on my maternal side of the family that are healthy (me included). So I will kick, shout, dance, walk and occasionally run (what? you can't expect me to change all my habits that soon can you?) for raising awareness, joining in with other women and scream: Cancer, we're coming to get you!
