I am running this 10k for all the amazing Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) and Transplant friends & families who supported my mum through her PH and transplant journey!!
PH is a severe disease that shouldn't be confused with high blood pressure; it is a lung disease that causes strain on the heart, with only one current cure being heart, lung or both (heart and double lung) transplants - which occur extremely rarely due to a lack of donors. My family and I want to continue supporting those who have PH as we know how difficult living with PH can be. We also want to continue aiding the Pulmonary Hypertension Association UK charity in all the amazing work they do in supporting patients and researching the disease.
I know this is very last minute but any donation is appreciated hugely and will make a difference, thank you!
