Richard Sullivan's fundraising page
Hi, thanks for visiting my page.
As you may be aware, my son Elliot suffers from Lamellar Ichthyosis, a rare genetic life long skin condition.
My brother-in-law, Duncan Butler (Elliot's uncle), has decided to challenge himself to row the length of the River Thames in aid of Elliot's charity the Ichthyosis Support Group (ISG). This will be done in a vintage traditional wooden rowing boat. The whole journey is 120 miles from Lechlade in the Cotswolds to Teddington Lock in Central London.
Duncan is rowing the whole 120 Miles over 9 days with a companion rower on each day.
I am being the "companion" on 24th and 25th June, so I will be rowing around 30 miles.
This challenge is to help raise funds for the ISG in their pursuit to explore research, treatment, give help and advice for families living with Ichthyosis as we do. ISG is the only charity in the UK that supports this condition and is wholly self funded.
Please follow the link below to the Icthyosis Support Group for further details on the condition and charity.
Any support that you can give is greatfully received. Thank you for your donation.
