Throughout October 2011, Royal Marines of 3 Commando Brigade return to their home bases from Afghanistan; their tenth such deployment since 2001. The Royal Marines have been hit particularly hard, with scores of life-changing injuries incurred and 70 Royal Marines killed whilst serving their country on operations in the last ten years.
The Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund aims to support our wounded, those who continue to serve in high threat environments, those who need support having left the Corps, and sadly, the next of kin of those who die in service.
We have set ourselves the challenge of raising £6,000,000 by the 350th anniversary of the Royal Marines in October 2014 and we need your support to achieve this.
