We help blind and partially sighted people to break down the barriers of sight loss

Story

Following on from our walk last year across the South Downs where we raised over £10,000 for Sunshine House, we are (madly!) doing it again....  Enough time has gone by that we would like to say we have forgotten how painful it was but actually we have just managed to find new ways to laugh about it! This year on the first weekend in September we (Helen Lee, Robin Spinks, Laura Crandley, John Paton, Petra Carnecka,  Mina Pujara, Neil Heslop and Storm - assuming he doesn't pull out again like last year!) will be aiming to walk 150 kilometres in four days across Norfolk from Thetford to Hunstanton to Cromer.  We want to try and raise £15,000 for Action for Blind People to run Finding your Feet courses - and no, the irony is not  lost on us!!  Please help us get to our target in whatever way you can.

About the charity

Every day 250 people in the UK start losing their sight. With your help, we can be there when people need us most, support independent living, create an inclusive society and prevent avoidable sight loss. Every pound you raise will help create a future where sight loss is no longer a barrier.
