RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

We are the volunteer RNLI crew based at RNLI Kessock.

There are 20 of us and we're all taking the RNLI H2Only Challenge. Each and every one of us. We are going to give up ALL liquid drinks except for water for 10 days.

Why? It's simple. We like challenges (and this will be one!). When we launch on shouts we are faced with lots of different challenges and overcoming them. But more importantly, we are all volunteers, the RNLI is a charity and relies on fundraising to do what it does; save lives at sea. By supporting us as we take the H2Only Challenge you will be making a direct contribution to helping us at Kessock Lifeboat Station.

10 days without coffee, tea, wine, beer or fizzy drinks. It’s going to be a challenge, but we're determined to brave it, go H2Only and raise as much as we can for the RNLI. Their lifeboat crews and lifeguards know all about staying strong. We do it every day – dropping everything to go out on the water and save lives. Your support will help us stay strong too, so please give as much as you can. Thank you.
