Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On 29th September a team of 5 seniors from Royal Winchester Golf Club plus Lou and Zoe, from the RWGC bar management staff tackled the daunting 25.5 mile walk along the Testway.

Despite a 6.30 am registration, several hours of rain, miles of muddy paths, and far too many stiles and 9 hours of walking the team all successfully completed the walk.

It was as tough a challenge as we expected and the knowledge that we were doing it for PLANETS, a very worthwhile cause, was what kept us going over the last few miles when our bodies were telling us we had
done enough.

Many, many thanks for your sponsorship

The five seniors , Richard Stones, Ray Jones, Bob Sprague, Eugene Stapleton and Andy Quick ( who lived up to his name and finished ahead of us so is missing from the photo ) with Zoe Jennings and Lou Tustian,

We are raising money for PLANETS cancer charity . You will see from the details below that this a very worthwhile enterprise and we hope that you will sponsor us in our endeavour and ideally Giftaid your donation.
