Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are a team of Engineers from Novelis Recycling UK, Warrington, raising money for Liverpool's Alder Hey Childrens Charity. This charity is close to my heart having a son who has been under their excellent care for many years now. You cannot help but be humbled when you visit the centre and feel the warmth, genuine love and committment the Alder Hey team give and feel the heartfelt loss they go through every day.

We will be putting ourselves through a gruelling 17K Mountain bike ride through the forest of Grizedale (most of it up hill), followed by a 3K Kayak across Coniston waters (feels like 30 miles) finished off (literally) by a 10K trek to the summit of the Old Man Of Coniston.

So please if you do one thing this year, donate to this worthy charity and change the lives of everyday children, in the UK. Last year we raised over an amazing £3,000 for the charity and we hope to get somewhere near that again.

Forget X Factor, The Voice, Britains Got Talent, Dancing on Ice etc. Support the people who Really matter.
