Story

On August 12th our family’s world turned upside down!

Why? Because the most special and unique soul left us, so suddenly and unexpectedly. At the amazing age of 48 Binda Kaur was a woman of strength, kindness and most of all love.

Having been born with Downs Syndrome in the early 70’s, the label that was attached just for having one extra chromosome was one of disbelief, in today’s day and age it’s a gift.

Binda was special right until the very end.

As a family we want to say thank you to Binda, so we are planning to complete a half marathon in her name. The family members taking part will each do it separately but on the same date, from all corners of the world covering the U.K., Spain and Canada.

In the words of Binda herself: Be Alright!

All money raised will go directly to the Downs Syndrome Association.

The walk/run/ bike ride will be taking place on Saturday 24th April follow the page for the photos!

Thank you all for sponsorship!
