I am running 10k to raise money for the British Heart Foundation in memory and celebration of the lives of James Bain, Mark Beattie and Czeslaw Dudek.

James was my mentor as well as my boss during my early career at ITV, he passed away on 7th January 2016 and there has not been a day that has gone by when I haven't missed his pep talks and his sense of humour (and the great football chats).

Mark was a dear friend of our family, he has been sorely missed by all of his friends and family since he suddenly passed away on 22nd October 2017.

Czeslaw Dudek was unknown to me until we both took part in the inaugural Weybridge 10k last year.  Sadly, at the age of 37 (my age this year), he didn't make it to the finish line.

I would like to honour James, Mark and Czeslaw by supporting BHF and running this event in their names.
