National 3 Peaks Challenge · 29 June 2019

Children, adults and families find a helping hand and listening ear in difficult times. Disabled and older people are empowered to live full lives through our adult care team. And people from all walks of life are supported in their times of need by Father Hudson's and its community partners.

Story

As 2018/19 President of BII I needed to choose a challenge that would test my ability, stamina and perseverance.  The National Three Peaks Challenge was an obvious one for me, something which I wanted to do before reaching 50 whilst raising money for my chosen charity Father Hudson's which is local to where I live.

The Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales often within 24 hours including the 480 mile drive between the three peaks.

Ben Nevis in Scotland (1345m)

Scarfell Pike in England (978m)

Snowdon in Wales (1085m)

On the weekend of the 29/30 June 2019, I will be attempting the National Three Peaks Challenge for Father Hudson’s Care.

All funds raised will go directly to Father Hudson's - I am self funding the climb.
