Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

This handsome young man is my nephew ( I can't bring myself to say was). This photo was taken after he completed the London bikeathon in September 2012. He cycled 83 miles to raise money for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. This was to try and give back to the charity he had benefitted from so much. He was in remission then, but sadly 9 months later the leukaemia won and at the tender age of 27 he was taken from us.

He is no longer here to raise money so I will do what I can to try and continue where he left off. I want to make sure that others do not have to suffer the way David did. He was truly inspirational the way he fought so hard for 3 years and that 3 years may not have been possible but for charities such as this.

I ask you to donate what you can. If you can't spare much a little will make a difference. One more thing I would like to ask all of you to do is to consider becoming a blood donor. I will probably not be able to give enough blood in my life to cover the blood that David received throughout his illness which for me puts into perspective just how much blood is needed. I am grateful to all those who have given blood and continue to give blood to make it possible to treat people like David.
