This is Max. Max simply wouldn't be here today if it weren't for Staffie Smiles Rescue. Not even 2 years old when his previous owners took him to the vets to put to put to sleep for absolutely no reason! This is an all too familiar story for our beloved staffies. Max has since been adopted and is loving life but now he wants to help!

Staffie Smiles Rescue is a small charity ran entirely by volunteers dedicated to rescuing death row dogs. These dogs have done nothing wrong and through no fault of their own have become stray- most likely abandoned. Stray dogs spend 7 days in the pound to allow their owners time to reclaim them. If unclaimed on day 7 these dogs will be put to sleep. Staffie Smiles works tirelessly to save as many of these dogs as they can from this horrendous fate . As a charity they are of course restricted by funds. Each dog rescued cost on average £400 to bring from pound to it's forever home  *N.B  the adoption fee is £160

Max would like to give back to Staffie Smiles for saving his life by doing a sponsored climb of Ben Lomond. Now Max is more a sofa snuggler than a hiking dog...all 3000 plus feet of this hike will be a challenge for him but he's up for it! Can you help him get there? It would be simply amazing if we could raise £400 and save another staffie.
