The Bupa Great North Run is THE most iconic half-marathon on the planet, with 54,000 runners taking part, over 13 miles throughout Tyneside on Saturday 18^th September.

Despite our varied levels of fitness, seven of us from Head Office have decided to partake in this event to raise funds for The Co-operative’s charity of the year - Mencap (Enable in Scotland) - and would like to ask for your support in contributing to our £5 million target for 2011.

Completing the run will be a huge challenge for all of us, so please dig deep and get those pennies motivating us!!
