I was inspired to do something for Fairtrade Fortnight after attending the Global Aware conference in Bristol. Dressing as a banana for Fairtrade Fortnight will not only raise awareness about the importance of Fairtrade but it will also be a fantastic opportunity for me to meet people in my new area… it will definitely be a talking point!

I also hope to do a banana themed bake sale at the school where I am based. I will also be discussing with the students about the importance of being fair and we will be looking at stories about sharing.

 

 Anyone who would like to join me for a  banana themed fun two weeks please get in touch. It is not too late to order you a banana costume!
