Last year I accidently found out I had stage 1c ovarian cancer. After the shock and operations, I am now clear and wanted to raise awareness of this silent but deadly form of cancer.  I plan to do at least one event a month for the next year. 

I realise that there are many other people out there who are also raising money and therefore I ask that you only donate £1 for each event. I am not looking to hit great monetary targets but to spread the word and make women think twice about a swollen stomach or back pain that might send them to the Dr's for a check up - which like me, could save their lives.
