Story

am taking part in Strictly Inverness 2023 to raise funds for 2 charities in Inverness that are close to my heart and many of those in the Highlands.

My Dad Charlie Lucas who sadly passed away of Bowel Cancer less than 6 weeks after his diagnosis on the 19th June 2020 at the young age of 43.

The Highland Hospice provided valuable support to my family during my dad’s illness and this continued after his passing. Ironically I am dancing on 11th May which is exactly 3 years to the day of my dad’s cancer diagnosis and I know he would be proud of me and cheering me on as much as he did when my mum participated in Strictly Inverness 2012.
