I decided to run the MK marathon for Fairplay because they provide an opportunity and environment for young people with disabilities to get together socially, and do what other teenagers do. They run a variety of activities in the evenings, weekends and during school holidays. They do things like going  bowling, going to watch CFC play, watching the X Factor tour live, and shopping at Meadowhall. Fairplay house is a great resource for the young people, and enables them to spend a night or weekend together and sleep over supervised by specialist qualified staff.

My daughter Ellie is aged 17, and has a learning difficulty and epilepsy; she cannot speak. She has been going to Fairplay since she was 13, and it has been fabulous for her. She has been able to socialise with her peers and do 'normal' teenage activities. Without Fairplay she wouldn't have had the opportunity to do so much with her friends.
