Hastings Half Marathon 2015 · 22 March 2015 ·
As most of you know, I had colorectal and breast cancer last year. Three operations later and 9 months of gruelling chemo, I am delighted to say that I have now been given the 'all clear'. The Pelican cancer foundation, a charity based in Basingstoke, holds meetings to share its knowledge with bowel cancer surgeons nationwide, embedding new developments into practice to help today's patients. Words cannot express how grateful I am to the Basingstoke team as they potentially saved my life not once, but twice. So I thought I would raise as much money for them as possible. My challenge is the Hastings half marathon which takes place on 22nd March so if you could sponsor me, in any way, even if it's a couple of pounds, I will be extremely grateful.
Just remember it is a very hilly course and the more money I can raise, the easier those hills are going to be!
Thank you
