I AM TAKING PART IN CEO SLEEPOUT and will be sleeping rough for one night ...HOMELESSNESS is a cause very close to my heart. Some people say people are homeless because they are drug addicts and/or losers, lazy, worthless etc. Having spent a little time with homeless people in Manchester I know that most with drug and alcohol problems have so because they are homeless and not the other way around! I've never come across a homeless person who isn't entirely grateful for any help they get and just for someone to listen. Their stories are harrowing and each situation I can see myself in if not for my wonderful friends and family who I know will always be there for me. Not everyone has that so this Monday I WILL BE TAKING PART IN CEO SLEEPOUT and will be sleeping rough for one night to raise money and awareness of this growing, heartbreaking problem.
