So, here’s the thing.....I love my Sis, to the moon and back, probably just like you do yours, or your Bro. I Do not know where I’d be without her. Many of you know that she’s recently had major surgery, aggressive chemo and is now ‘recovering’ from Cancer. But, probably not many of you know that she’s not back at work, on zero pay, feels rubbish & struggles many days and has weekly infusion of magnesium as she’s so depleted. It’s exhausting bless her.

It is, we are told, the effects of chemo, ironically not the cancer, that is causing this and it we hope it will go away, but she’s battling alongside losing Dad too this year and needs a wee lifeline. 

This week that seemed to come in the form of a small local charity called Cancerwise, offering counselling, some amazing therapies, drop in centre, friendship etc. They opened their welcoming and non-judgmental door for her - immediately and as for as long as she needs them - Wow! 😊 

They ask for nothing but hope for a small donation - only if you can - towards any support sessions you receive from them whether that’s counselling or reflexology or acupuncture!

Soooo, here’s the other thing..

tomorrow, I am running the Bognor 10k and I have decided I would love to be able to raise some pennies to help this unrecognised small charity and help my Sis and others receive some hugely needed emotional support.
