Story

We are deeply saddened to share the news of Andy's passing.

After a sudden and short illness Andy passed away peacefully on the 07.07.21. We needed time to start to come terms with the loss before being able to share this news publicly.

Andy was an amazing husband, father, stepfather, grandad
(Pop), brother, uncle and friend.

Andy was also a keen climber, guitarist, band member and twitcher.

He would love to be remembered as a rock star, which is exactly how we'll remember him.

We are all obviously devastated with the shock of losing him unexpectedly. As a family we would like to do something positive in his memory and try to find a good at such a hard time.

One of Andy's main passions was climbing so we are raising funds for Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team. They are based in Merthyr and cover the Brecon Beacons National Park, incorporating Pen Y Fan, the waterfalls of Ystradfellte, Cardiff, Caerphilly and Newport. It is manned by unpaid volunteers and is dependant on fundraising and donations.

We do not expect donations but if you would like to contribute we would be extremely grateful. If you do donate, please leave us a little message of a good memory you have had with Andy, as we would love to hear them.

Much love,

All of Andy's family

xx
