We ensure early, accurate diagnoses of CdLS to understand CdLS and help those with it

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My nephew Sonny Garner was diagnosed with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome when he was born in 2006.  Having a member of the family with special needs really puts things into perspective for the rest of us.  Life hasn't been easy for Sonny's parents, but they are rewarded by having a son who is happy, has an amazing character, infectious laugh and who never complains about anything!  He really is 'Sonny Sunshine', and we all love him to bits.

Two years ago I ran the London Marathon for the CdLS Foundation.  The support of my family and friends, and from the crowds on the day, made it one of the most moving experiences of my life.....that's why I'm going back for more this year!

The CdLS Foundation uses every penny that is raised to support families affected by CdLS, and also to carry out research into this very rare condition.  Thank you for your help in supporting such a fantastic charity.
