  Two years ago we ran (well limped round) the Monster
  obstacle race in memory of our dear friend and colleague Rachel Higson who passed away following a prolonged illness. We raised a whopping £3,295!!
  
  The team are keen to continue honouring her memory by
  participating in regular events . 
  
  We are all aware of the risk of charity fatigue and decided to complete an event every two years. 
  
  Actually who are we kidding it has taken us two years to recover from our last race.
  
  On April 22nd 2017 the CATS team will be taking on the Gung Ho 5km race at Windsor which is an obstacle race over inflatables!
  It’s going to be hard work but a whole lot of fun –hopefully without injury!!
  
  Rachel was a special person who touched the hearts of
  everyone who knew her. Her presence and constant smile brightened the day of everyone who came into contact with her.
  
  She was an outstanding nurse, friend and colleague, who is
  greatly missed by everyone that knew her.
  
  She will never be forgotten and we are keen that her legacy
  goes on to enable others to care for patients and families in her inimitable
  way.
