Story

So my dad... He is dying...I don't know exactly how long he has left , a year, two?? He has cancer , he's had cancer on and off for 5 years but this time there's no cure, no way out... Chemo is just a life prolonger and Dad is fighting.

He is in pain, he's losing weight, his skin is so sore it's cracking and peeling . Sometimes he can't eat as his mouth is full of painful ulcers. Watching your parent in pain and deterioration is horrendous ... So I thought I'd put myself through some horrendous moments.

So I've signed up for the following

3rd July - 10k Malvern hill Run

31st July - Aquabike (750m open water swim immediately onto a bike for 20.5km and a quick 100m sprint to finish)

14th August - sprint Triathlon relay (500m open water swim ) friends Katy and Strph will do cycle and run legs , together we are team " Tri harder next time "

18th September - Aqualthon (400m pool swim into 5k run)

24th September - this is the big one... The Brownlee Brothers Sprint Triathlon. (750m open water swim / 26km bike / 5.5km run)

16th October - finishing off in style and in fancy dress the Birmingham half marathon 13.1 miles - running with friend Emily dressed as Patsy and Eddie from Ab Fab!!!

So I'm in training , according to Lucy looking like a man more and more 😂😂 but seriously it's amazing, I feel I'm helping dad as if I'm not giving up there's no way he can!!!

My dad asked me to raise for the Aylesford unit as they need so much support and give so much. Dad is there all the time for chemo, check ups etc and the staff become your friends, they are amazing but need our help.

Whatever you can spare is amazing and if you fancy a laugh come to watch me in unflattering Lycra either drowning, falling off the bike or running in the wrong direction. Just message me for location and times 😍

Let's kick this fucking cancer to high hell!!!

I can't save my Dad but we can help the people trying!!!
