Story
Most of you will know that in October 2019, we sadly lost our dad to a Glioblastoma, an aggressive Brain Tumour. It has been a very difficult time for our family and whilst we are learning to adapt to life without him, we know that we will never get over our loss because of the cruel way in how it ended for him.
We have set up a charity in his memory, The Jay C Trust, to support others going through the same thing. This charity is very close to our hearts and we will do whatever we can to help raise awareness and funds to help others. Please help us.
On 12th June, Krish and I will be taking part in a tandem skydive. I have never really been too good with heights (like my dad) and that’s why this is a real challenge for me. Krish doesn’t seem to mind being in the air but jumping out of a plane might be a different thing, we will see! Either way, we know dad will be very proud of us.
Please see our website www.thejayctrust.com to see what we have been doing and to see how you can help and get involved.
We know there are a lot of charities that are raising money for cancer research, but not enough. We also know that we are a unique charity that specifically helps people with Glioblastomas, by giving financial support, to them and their families at a very difficult time. Please help us to raise awareness and help us raise money. This disease shouldn’t happen to anybody and it shouldn’t have happened to our dad, but it did. It could happen to anyone.
Thank you.
