The staff at the British Transport Police station in Aberdeen are undertaking a year of fundraising efforts to raise money for Mental Health Aberdeen.

The British Transport Police are at the forefront of Suicide Prevention, our Officers work hard to safeguard people experiencing mental health crises and suicidal thoughts.  When these people go on to complete suicide, they often do so on the railway, and it is the Officers of the British Transport Police who then respond to these tragic incidents.

It for this reason that our Aberdeen staff have chosen to support Mental Health Aberdeen.  We hope to raise enough money to help MHA continue to provide the many important services throughout the Grampian Region.
