Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My story is about my someone who is very close to me, my eldest sister Sharan. My sister was diagnosed with Cancer whilst she was expecting her first child who is 9 years old now. This must have been the toughest time for my family as we had always heard about others being diagnosed with cancer but never expected one of our own. When sharan went through her Chemotherapy we saw many changes in her from being really weak to where she was unable to pick up her newborn up to loosing all her hair. But the greatest miracle for us was that she was a survivor and battled through it.

I was 16 year old at this time and this was all a shock as I was seeing all these changes in her but didn't really know what cancer was until we went to visit sharan in hospital and was told this is life threatening. In the last couple of years I have ran for a few different cancer charities like Cancer research & Macmillan as I believe they can make a real different and help people understand what cancer really is and get the right support they need.

Sharan now has 3 beautiful children and has been able to move on with her life. My sisters Sharan & Karan are my life and I could not imagine my life without them.

Love you girls loads xx
