We are passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism to live joyful and purpose-driven lives. We provide activities and experiences that people may otherwise struggle to access, supporting them to learn new skills, form lasting friendships and lead fulfilling lives.

Story

I've been volunteering for LinkAble for several years now and during that time I've raised a little money here and there through concerts but now it's time to see if I can do better. It's been tough times for charities and LinkAble needs our help more than ever to provide servies to support people with learning disabilities.

I'm back into running but I'm very slow and have only made it to 5 miles so far. I've only ever walked 11 or 12 miles in one go. So it's a bit of a leap, with 3 weeks training to get to 26 miles. It will definitely mostly be walked but I will try running some of it. So I could be on the trail for 9 hours and although running the distance is much more impressive, I hope you feel that walking for that long is enough of an effort to justify donating something to LinkAble. I would very much appreciate your support! When my feet start to really hurt, which I anticipate will happen at about 10 miles, it will really help to keep me going. Thanks everyone!
