MAG - Battersea Power Station Abseil · 26 September 2010 ·

Every single day, 13 people are killed or injured because of landmines and other explosive weapons. Half of all civilian casualties are children. MAG finds and destroys these weapons to save lives and rebuild futures; helping people to grow crops, attend school and build homes.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I must be a bit mad (and following in the footsteps of  Priya Venkatesan from VRMM), as I will be abseiling down Battersea Power Station (with Pardip Mutti and co.) on 26th September 2010 for MAG (Mines Advisory Group). This organisation helps to clear the remnants of conflict by carrying out bomb clearance and educating communities that live in contaminated areas to minimise risk.
