Story

I plan to row for 1 hour/15K each day throughout February Monday to Saturday and a half marathon (21097 metres) each Sunday.

By the end of February I would cover the distance of 9 marathons and to round it off plan to row one complete full marathon (42195 metres) on Sunday 3rd March 2019.

Over the month (including the full marathon) I will cover the distance of at least 421,950 metres Over the month (including the  full marathon) I would have rowed for at least 29 Hours

I will keep a running total of both.

I have set myself a target of raising £812 for Macmillan Cancer Care.  The reason I came to this figure, I am rowing for 29 hours, I would love to be spending this time with my Dad  who has terminal cancer and gets help and care from Macmillan but unfortunately living so far apart this isnt always possible because of the ties of everyday life.  I really do appreciate what the Macmillan nurses do for him and would like to do my bit.

It cost on £28 per hour for a macmillan nurse helping people living with cancer and their families receive essential medical , practice and emotional support

So you can see 29 x 28 = £812 my target.

I'm going to kick this off by donating £28 myself.  I would appreciate any help and support every pound really does help but I completely understand not everyone is in a position to help financially however a like, share, retweet etc can be just as valuable to the cause and would be a moral boost for me to know I have support.

If you see my daily posts please don't feel hounded for money, this is not my intention but to show everyone I am sticking to my challenge and keeping you all updated on my progress.

I really appreciate the time you have taken to read through this and thank you all in advance for any help and support you give along the way #FebROWary.
