Story

I was 22 years old when I was injured. A horse riding accident during a polo match.

I lived and breathed horses back then and this all came to a grinding halt.

I was taken to Stoke Mandeville spinal unit. When I arrived I kept the door closed and was rude to everyone. I learned the hard way. I needed their help. And that's what they gave me.

I learnt how to sit up again, take care of the day to day things you take for granted. Learnt to drive again. I had to go on a very emotional and difficult learning journey.

Now I live in Jersey am happily married and have a six year old son. And I have job I enjoy.

My aim along with my Cure Girl friends is to raise awareness for a Cure to Spinal cord injury.

Raising funds for SIA is giving something back for the care I was given after my injury.
