Story

So we made it!

The team at the Women's Health Research Centre has lived to tell the tale.  We climbed Ben Nevis on saturday the 15th of June, as a team fundraising challenge for the Genesis Research Trust.

The Genesis Research Trust, a charity who has generously supported this fantastic team and the variety of research the WHRC team conducts.

The WHRC is a unique unit (which I am the proud manager of) which coordinates bench-to-bedside studies related to diseases of pregnancy and gynaecological disease. It takes the excellent laboratory research performed at Imperial College London to the patient population and community. This includes studies to identify women at risk of complications in pregnancy and prevent possible tragic outcomes in the women, their babies and children.

If our story stirs something in you and you feel compelled to donate to this fantatsic cause, our just giving page is open until the 30th of June.  All donations are going straight to this fantatsic charity which is supporting incredible research into Women's Health worldwide.
