Rebecca's Zip Wire

Zip Wire · 30 June 2013
I have recently completed 4 months working for the Upper GI team at the RVI, Newcastle. The team treat alot of patients with oesophageal and gastric cancer. It can be a truly awful disease to be diagnosed with but they are working to provide the best care they can for patients with excellent nurse specialists and by undertaking research. I met some truly lovely patients with this condition and know money donated will be used wisely to improve their care.
On a separate note I am really scared about the prospect of zip wiring from the top of the baltic across the tyne. I thought I was totally up for it and then did Go-Ape, which I realise was a much more tame version, and was pretty scared!! If anyone fancies coming to watch it takes place on Sun 30th June, yes thats my wedding anniversay, and Ad is at work so some support would be great!
Your donations would be greatly appreciated!!
